I have some Rosa Gallica Officianalis (Apothecary Rose) that I will be thinning this spring. This is an old rose – highly fragrant, having deep pink to purple blooms blooming once a year. it is low growing and spreads at the roots. If anyone is interested in bare roots I am thinning my bed in late March.
